As an Engineering Intern you will provide support in the development of the Lakeland site&rsquo;s standard operating procedures under the direction of department managers and assistance from shop floor employees. You may also assist the Engineering/Maintenance Manager with a spare parts inventory project. This position requires a person to be detailed oriented with good computer and communication skills (verbal and written). Experience with technical writing is preferred.

Our standard working hours are Monday &ndash; Friday (37.5 / 40 hours per week) 
This internship offers a valuable opportunity to learn our end-to-end sales processes from creation to industrialization. The internship will offer great business exposure working in cutting edge software and databases to analyze sales and operations data.

Expect 50% of time engaging with staff members on the shop floor gathering information (process steps, relevant photos, safety requirements and other parameters) to develop new and modify existing procedures.</li><li>
Expect 50% of time spent at a PC constructing procedures using Microsoft applications.</li><li>
Any downtime from procedure development could be spent sorting and cataloging the sites spare parts inventory or assisting with process or project engineering tasks.</li><li>
