Requirements

  • Our firm is made up of motivated, intellectually curious people. We are looking for candidates with an interest in Finance and the markets, and an appreciation for client servicing, sales support and relationship management. The inherent qualifications we look for are:
  • Consistent academic achievement, from any degree discipline
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability and desire to work in a collaborative environment
  • Intellectually curiosity and a willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate use of Excel and PowerPoint (preferred)
  • Well-rounded candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds, who can demonstrate interests and endeavors outside of their studies, are especially welcome.
  • The programme is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students in their penultimate year of study. Please note that you must have ABB in your top three A-levels (excluding general studies), and a minimum predicted or obtained 2.1 university degree classification (or equivalent if you studied outside the UK).

Responsibilities

  • Work with marketers to best understand LAM’s diverse client base and strategic products sold within a channel
  • Research major trends within the industry to drive sales channel business
  • Prioritise extensive potential prospects list based on firm strengths and client needs
  • Work alongside Client Service Associates to complete client requests
  • Use various internal and external research tools to conduct analysis to further develop client relationships
  • Update quarter-end presentations for portfolio managers and sales representatives
  • Automate marketing functions to increase efficiency and streamline processes
  • Conduct competitive analysis based on qualitative and quantitative metrics
