What is the duration of the internship program?
The internship program will take place between June and August.
Where is the internship located?
The internship is based at our London office.
What kind of work will interns be doing?
Interns will be given meaningful work from the very first day, including fundamental research, financial modelling, portfolio construction, and valuation.
Will interns receive mentorship during the program?
Yes, each intern will be individually mentored by one of our experienced analysts for the duration of the program.
What is expected from interns at the end of the internship?
Interns will be required to present a buy/sell recommendation on a company they analyze to a panel of investors at the end of their internship.
What background is preferred for applicants?
We are looking for candidates with a strong academic record and an interest in investing, from a diverse range of backgrounds. You do not need to be studying Economics or Finance to apply.
What are the academic qualifications required for this internship?
Applicants must have ABB in their top three A-levels (excluding general studies), and a minimum predicted or obtained 2.1 university degree classification (or equivalent if studied outside the UK).
Can I apply if I have a background in a non-financial field?
Yes, we welcome well-rounded candidates from a variety of degree disciplines, including those who can code and analyze unstructured data sets.
Are there networking opportunities during the internship?
Yes, interns will have opportunities to attend business, training, and social events to help build their own network and understand the asset management industry.
Is familiarity with financial markets necessary for application?
While an interest in investing is desired, it is not strictly required. We appreciate candidates who are intellectually curious and eager to learn.
