  • The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership abilities, strong teamwork and analytical skills, strategic thinking capabilities, initiative, and enthusiasm for a dynamic work environment.
  • Effective communication, creativity, and a deep understanding of complex business issues, along with a demonstrated ability to empathize with consumers, are essential.
  • Currently 3rd or 4th year student, pursuing bachelor’s degree in business, or other.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a scale of 4, and 10.0 or higher on a scale of 12.
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Office suite with strong ability in Excel (ability to use the following functions: VLOOKUP; PIVOT TABLE, SUMIF).
  • Ability to self-sufficiently to work (in-person) at our corporate head office (160 Bloor Street East, Toronto, Ontario) for a minimum of 2 full days per week (determined by the Line Manager).
  • Capability to work self-sufficiently remotely with the right resources already in place (i.e., WIFI connection, private workspace, etc.)
  • Availability to work from Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST, without conflict of academic classes or responsibilities.
  • Eligibility to work full time in Canada.
  • Be available for the full duration of the internship session: Jan 2nd – May 2nd 2025.
  • Note that the interview will take the form of a business case analysis and an Excel assessment; this will be either virtual or in person at our corporate head office.

Responsibilities

  • CBD Interns responsibilities are determined by the Line Manager and are focused on, but not limited to accessing, managing, and analyzing data.
  • The data sources are Unilever internal data or customer sourced data. Understanding and using data allows CBD teams to make fact-based decisions. You will support translating insights into action to deliver business solutions and driving profitable growth.
  • You will gain a high level of customer service and follow up to effectively meet the needs of both the internal and external customer base – interaction with multiple touch points internally and externally.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to develop and execute Joint Business Plans with the customer while delivering targets.
  • CSP Interns responsibilities are determined by the Line Manager and are focused on, but not limited to accessing, managing, and analyzing data.
  • You will support translating Category Growth Strategies into Channel and Customer plans against the famous 6Ps (price, pack, place, promo, proposition, product).
  • As part of being a CSP team member, you will be the internal voice of the customer (who is selling our product i.e., Loblaws, Amazon) and the consumer (the end purchaser).
  • CSP teams works closely with CBD teams and Brand teams to ensure channel and customer insights are incorporated into the development of category and brand plans.
