Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn insurance-specific software.
  • Eagerness to obtain a Property and Casualty (P&C) license, with support provided by the company.
  • Education and/or Experience:
  • Rising senior of a four-year university preferred
  • Interested in pursuing a career in insurance

Responsibilities

  • Account Management Training:
  • Learn how to build and maintain strong relationships with clients alongside seasoned account executives; understanding clients’ insurance needs, and providing timely and accurate assistance with policy inquiries, coverage changes, claims processing, and billing inquiries to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
  • Training and Development:
  • Participate in our comprehensive Account Manager training program
  • Stay updated on insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Handle day-to-day tasks such as distributing mail, entering claims, billing non-pays, reconciling bills, and processing payments.
  • Set up Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for clients, ensuring seamless payment processing.
  • Key in quotes with various insurance carriers.
