Requirements

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Local to Detroit or Waltham and able to come to the office 3 days a week.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Work experience: 0-1 Years.
  • Considering a career in Finance or Accounting
  • Familiar with one or more of the following skillsets: Business Math, Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint, Understanding of the Stock Market, Valuation, Financial Statements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Validates, enters, reconciles, and audits routine financial information.
  • Assists with costing, projecting, analyzing and organizing data.
  • Assists in projects related to specific department or Finance in general. May be expected to complete a project or projects from start to finish of varying levels of responsibility.
  • Interacts with all levels of business and across functions
  • The Accounting and Finance Interns will partner with the Business Operations Manager, Business Analytics, and Revenue and will gain hands-on industry experience in the Finance/Accounting field.
