Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Have taken at least 2 accounting courses.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges with a positive attitude.
  • Prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Able to work in the US for an indefinite period without sponsorship
  • Able to come to the NYC office three days a week (relocation not offered)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in approving expense reports and auditing receipts to ensure adherence to company’s expense policies.
  • Support the accounts payable process by properly coding vendor invoices and obtaining approval.
  • Collaborate with team members on updating our company policies including collections, expense reimbursements and credit cards.
  • Contribute to the financial audit by gathering necessary support for our auditors.
  • Engage in learning and comprehending the responsibilities of team members and actively participating in the documentation of departmental processes.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives to support departmental goals and continuous improvement efforts.
