Requirements

  • Student must be enrolled in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related degree
  • Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Review current program activities to make recommendations for changes/improvement opportunities
  • Apply your knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls in a large corporate environment.
  • Work alongside our staff accountants and accounting supervisors to learn how the accounting principles are applied in our day-to-day activities as well as our monthly financial close responsibilities, perform account analysis, prepare journal entries, and reconcile accounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Detailed roles and responsibilities will be outlined dependent on business Group, location and the project outlined
  • We will also have several special projects at this time we anticipate you will be very involved including a conversion to SAP, warehouse and plant visits to evaluate operational effectiveness, engineering project investment analysis, fixed asset verifications, and fixed asset investment analysis for their return on investment.
