Responsibilities

  • Capitalizing and amortizing all shows across the WBD family of networks as well as our digital offerings.
  • Working closely with the brands to ensure complete and accurate costs and associated amortization curves are applied.
  • Recording journal entries and preparing account reconciliations so they can gain insight into the actual workings of a global accounting department.
  • Assist on ad hoc projects in our ever-changing organization.
  • Assist with creating projects and assets in our ERP system as well as various analyses related to amortization profiles as needed.
  • Responsible for processing remittances for affiliate customers on a monthly basis to account for AR, revenue, and cash.
  • Assist with tax research on a variety of issues pertaining to state taxes and production credits.
  • Assist with compliance of production tax credits and prepare supporting documentation.
  • Provide support on financial reporting, report running, and updating and maintaining tax models in MS Excel.
  • Assists the department with research and development tax credit study.
  • Exposure to reporting and withholding function.
  • Assist with partnership distributions.
  • Assist with SEC tax reporting.
  • Assist with various tax filings.
  • Assist with internal and external communications.
  • Assist in preparing presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint slides), project management (coordination with various teams), and ad hoc tax research.
  • Support completion of annual transfer pricing reports; document policies and procedures related to operational transfer pricing; analysis and review of Excel-based calculations.
