Requirements

  • Marketing Science Internship:
  • Proficient in at least one programming language such as R, Python, SQL. Experience programming in R preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel (i.e., Pivot Tables, Chart Creation, VLookup, Formulas)
  • Identify problems and propose solutions through application of analytical thinking
  • Familiarity with regression modeling is preferred
  • Marketing Intelligence Internship:
  • Are a proficient Excel User (i.e., Pivot Tables & VLookups)
  • Are a productive, self-starter, and able to handle multiple projects
  • Have a passion for learning and are open to constructive feedback
  • Are organized, detailed, and solution-orientated
  • Data Science Internship:
  • Relevant coursework in analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences or business/marketing related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, R, and Python
  • Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and AWS computing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Science Internship:
  • You will learn how to work with production code bases and translate data into visualization models that will be used on actual client projects. You will team up with our respected managers who are a wealth of knowledge and experience who will assist and guide you through various projects and scenarios.
  • Data cleaning and exploration using analysis tools such as R to find trends, patterns, and insights
  • Develop marketing mix modeling analysis and interpret model results
  • Support development and updates of modeling packages – including development of multi-touch attribution code base.
  • Marketing Intelligence Internship:
  • In this role, you will evaluate different data governance models, learn to use Datorama for master data governance, and gather business rules to match and align our data. Data Governance is a form of data management that focuses on organizations' ability to ensure that Data Quality is excellent throughout the lifecycle of the data. The fundamentals of Data Governance include usability, taxonomical accuracy, availability, data security, and data integrity.
  • Creating visualizations, dashboards and reporting insights through Datorama
  • Working in Datorama, completing training, and becoming certified
  • Supporting the Marketing Intelligence team by completing QA in various forms
  • Data Science Internship:
  • As a member of the Annalect data science team, you will work with client team strategists and media buyers to create solutions that shape the strategic direction of your client’s marketing plans through data-driven insights. You will collaborate with other data scientists to build new utilities, improve methodologies, and explore a wide variety of datasets.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and data queries, against outlined objectives, to ensure the availability of the right data and required sample sizes
  • Run predictive modeling utilities to define and project (score) audiences for deployment
  • Model performance/model separation to determine cut-off points and output resulting user pools for deployment (in/out phase gains charts)
