Requirements

  • Confident and clear communication skills

  • You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths

  • You HAVEN’T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
  • You are eligible to work in the UK
  • You are brand new to retail

Responsibilities

  • - Serving customers mostly at the till point
  • - Delivering excellent service
  • - Ensuring customers don’t miss out on any of the great Star Buys
  • - Helping ensure that the store is well stocked
  • - Maintaining a high level of store presentation
  • - Actively being involved in achieving the store targets
  • - Improving communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
  • - Supporting employability skills including interview skills, CV preparation, managing your money, health, and wellbeing
  • - Completing an end point assessment at the end of training
  • - Discussing potential progression opportunities with your Assessor and Store Manager
  • - Developing skills and offering real career progression supported by in-house training and Apprenticeship qualifications
