Requirements

  • To be considered for the Allianz Apprenticeship, applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements as set out by the III/ATU Sligo, and will demonstrate the Allianz People Attributes at interview. (Customer & Market Excellence, Entrepreneurship, Collaborative Leadership, Trust)
  • This role is subject to Minimum Competency Code (“MCC”) as provided for by the Central Bank of Ireland. A recognised insurance qualification may be required for this position. This role is also subject to the Fitness & Probity Regime as provided for by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • In line with the Apprenticeship guidelines, you will be assigned to the Underwriting department.
  • Responsibilities will very dependent on the business area assigned, but may include the following:
  • Quote, convert, renew and maintain general insurance policies for new and existing customer
  • Process Claims, ensuring information is logged accurately and in full
  • Service our customers via inbound and outbound telephone calls, emails and general administration
  • Consistently demonstrate our high customer service standards by ensuring a high level of customer engagement and meeting and exceeding customer expectations whilst acting with integrity
  • Proactively anticipate customer issues and taking appropriate action
  • Continually improve quality and efficiency within the team
  • Adhere to company quality and underwriting standards
  • Comply with the Financial Regulator’s Minimum Competency Code, Consumer Protection Code and any other relevant regulations
  • Participate in the achievement of individual and departmental targets and objectives
  • Engaging fully in Inclusive Leadership sessions with your manager, having a proactive approach to learning and development
