Requirements

  • Thinking: Do it out of the box. Actually, it’s best if you’re wholly unfamiliar with the concept of boxes. We want someone who can think in terms of acts not ads – we want ideas that spark conversation and resonate with our audiences
  • Digital: Know all the old school and the latest social media platforms, what brands are doing on them and what they should do next
  • Hustle: You’re a creative ninja. You bring fresh thinking, elevated creativity and great ideas to every assignment
  • Communication: Speak, write and edit succinctly and compellingly
  • Management: Meet deadlines, put out fires and multi-task. Work fast, and work well
  • Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering clear and precise work is a must
  • Technical: Proficient knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Knowledge of After Effects is a plus
  • Dynamic: Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Spark: Understand what sets you apart
  • The ideal candidate must be a college graduate by the start of the internship or have demonstrated transferrable skills
  • Must be available to work 40 hours a week from June-October

Responsibilities

  • Create production-ready designs and layouts, establish the look/tone/feel for campaigns and executions, and convey ideas through well-designed presentations
  • In all social media-specific concepts, be sure to understand various execution formats and incorporate creative/design/layout best practices for various social media networks including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Translate video story ideas into visual sequences through storyboards, mood boards, etc.
  • Ensure all visual design adheres to existing brand guidelines
  • Be proactive and deliver assignments on-time
  • Work across a fully integrated team with client experience, project managers, strategy, analytics, etc.
  • Collaborate professionally and help maintain a positive work environment for all team members; will be asked on occasion to design presentation decks for team members in PPT
  • Track brands in traditional and social media
  • Concept and bring forward ideas that can tap into our audience and culture in an engaging and earned way
