  • Eligibility: The Ben E. Keith ASPIRE Internship is open to actively enrolled students entering their senior year or who are current seniors.
  • Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must submit a resume with their application for consideration.
  • You must apply to your preferred location and be responsible for securing housing for the internship’s duration.
  • We’re seeking highly motivated seniors and rising seniors pursuing degrees in fields such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Management, Finance, Economics, Animal Sciences, Meat Sciences, Technology, or related disciplines.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

Responsibilities

  • Over the course of the internship, you’ll rotate through multiple departments, gaining a well-rounded view of how our business operates. Areas of focus include:
  • Administration (Credit, Accounting, HR)
  • Sales
  • Operations
  • Logistics
  • Purchasing
  • In each department, you’ll engage in small, impactful projects that will deepen your understanding of the business. You’ll also work on a group project with fellow interns, culminating in a final presentation to senior leadership. Previous group projects have explored topics such as:
  • Attracting, engaging and developing talent
  • Enhancing the intern experience
  • Solving supply chain challenges
  • Streamlining processes to reduce friction points
  • By the end of the program, you’ll have developed a solid understanding of the U.S. food supply chain and how Ben E. Keith Foods plays a key role in it.
