Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, or a similar field, from an accredited college or university, and should be sophomore or junior level students in good academic standing.
Are there specific skills required for this role?
Yes, required skills include excellent organization and time management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products. Experience with Microsoft Power Bi, Power Automate, and Palantir is desired.
What kind of experience is preferred for this internship position?
Previous classroom and/or work experience in areas such as technical writing, technical drawing/CAD, or statics, as well as an interest in learning about careers in the heavy equipment industry, is preferred.
What types of projects will the intern work on?
The intern will work on various assignments related to process improvement and data analysis, including analyzing global shop data, creating and editing work instructions, and participating in team case reviews.
