- An undergraduate building surveying student looking for a Year Out Placement as part of their degree program.
- Ability to assist in conducting building condition surveys, schedules of condition, and measured surveys.
- Support in preparing and managing design and specification documents for repair, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
- Work alongside senior surveyors to assess and report on building defects, advise on remedial actions, and prepare defect diagnosis reports.
- Assist in project management activities, ensuring that project objectives are met within time, cost, and quality standards.
- Help in preparing tender and contract documentation.
- Support in preparing dilapidation reports and party wall notices.
- Attend client meetings, site inspections, and progress meetings.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other consultants on behalf of clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work undertaken, including survey findings and project progress.
