  • One financially qualified Non-Executive Director with board-level strategic financial leadership experience, drawn from a track record working in complex highly regulated sector(s).
  • One clinically qualified Non-Executive Director with extensive experience in primary care, secondary care, public health or social care to join the Trust’s Quality Committee.
  • Current Research and Innovation experience, drawn from Medical, Nursing or an Allied Health Profession.
  • Board-level experience or potential to succeed in the role.

Responsibilities

  • The Trust is looking to appoint to three vital roles to help lead the Trust’s continuing improvement journey and help support the delivery of the Trust’s five-year Improving Lives strategy.
  • The Associate Non-Executive Director role is used successfully in the NHS to support Board succession planning, diversity and achieving a balance of Board level skills.
  • The role is a step-up role aimed at attracting potential Non-Executive Director candidates who do not yet have sufficient board-level experience but have the ability and potential to succeed in the role.
  • One financially qualified Non-Executive Director with board-level strategic financial leadership experience, drawn from a track record working in complex highly regulated sector(s).
  • One clinically qualified Non-Executive Director with extensive experience in primary care, secondary care, public health or social care to join the Trust’s Quality Committee.
