Description

  • Interns will become involved with all aspects of the Assurance practice and will gain solid, hands-on experience. They will experience challenging and relevant assignments working directly with Marcum partners and staff. They will work along with the Assurance staff in performing the Audit compliance function of the Assurance practice.
  • The position requires strong quantitative, analytical and technology capabilities. Interns must exhibit initiative and a strong desire to learn. The goal of the internship is to give interns a clear understanding of all areas of the Assurance department. They will be assigned client work and will be involved in various projects. Projects will be assigned on an as needed basis.
  • Interns will leave with knowledge of what will be expected of a Staff Assurance. Interns are allowed and encouraged to attend any subject matter training being offered during their internship. Marcum LLP offers 150+ courses per year, in house. Interns will also receive on the job training and may be required to go to client sites at times.

Requirements
