Requirements

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree. Preferred: Communications, Sciences and/or Medical Disorders. Required: Accredited Audiology PHD Program. | Currently enrolled in an accredited Audiology PHD degree program, practicum eligible with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. | Minimum Required: Audiology PHD Practicum Eligible (3 Years).

Responsibilities

  • Performs hearing evaluations, including evaluation of middle ear functions.
  • Assists with hearing aid prescription verifications, dispensing and troubleshooting.
  • Performs hearing balance evaluations, evoked potential and otoacoustic emissions testing.
  • Audits hearing aid lab daily and restocks supplies and forms as needed.
  • Tests, maintains and updates hearing aid fitting software as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
