Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, focusing on automation or a related field.
Strong technical skills and proficiency in automation engineering software and tools.
Knowledge of control systems theory, PLC programming, and industrial communication protocols.
Experience with CAD software for electrical and mechanical design is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing, and implementing automation systems for industrial processes or manufacturing facilities.
Collaborate with engineers to create control system architectures, including hardware selection, instrumentation, and communication protocols.
Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI (Human-Machine Interfaces), and other automation devices using industry-standard software and programming languages.
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Assist in integrating automation systems with existing equipment and processes, including commissioning and startup activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance automation systems and processes.
Perform other engineering tasks and support the automation engineering team as needed.
