Requirements

Currently undertaking a university degree with a real estate focus looking for a Sandwich Year Placement
IT skills (Microsoft office including proficiency with Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
Self motivated with good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and able to work autonomously
Diligent and a committed team player with ambition to work within a high profile investment management business

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Local Head of Asset Management, you will undertake a variety of tasks to support the team in the following activities:
Developing recommendations for Fund Managers on the acquisition, retention, refurbishment and disposal of real estate assets.
Developing asset plans including budgets for each asset under management and recommending actions to Fund Managers within a hold/sell framework.
Monitoring the investment strategies and reporting progress to the Fund Managers.
Managing development projects by instructing, defining and controlling the activities of internal and external Project Managers and reporting progress and results on completion to the Fund Manager.
Managing professional services/asset management activities including lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals, planning, building inspections and repairs, contractor services, health and safety compliance, maintenance of all records, tenant inquiries, etc.
Liaising with appointed legal advisors and other professional advisors as required.
Attending meetings with Fund & Asset Managers, and other professionals as required
