Responsibilities

  • Obtain and compile loan applicants credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information, analyses applicant's financial status, credit, and property valuation.
  • Conduct detailed research on the financial history of businesses to determine their creditworthiness.
  • Assess the risk parameters of the loan, borrower, and industry including the financial performance of the borrower and guarantor, assessing the repayment capacity and recommending the future course of action in approving/declining/counter offer of business loans.
  • The Corporate banking/Wholesale banking team is responsible for helping clients and organizations processes trade finance transactions by providing superior service delivery to trade customers whilst safeguarding the bank from risks associated with this business.
  • A process by which a company (mortgage bank, servicing firm, etc.) collects interest, principal and escrow payments from a borrower.
  • This includes sending monthly payment statements and collecting monthly payments, maintaining records of payments and balances, collecting and paying taxes and insurance (and managing escrow and impound funds), remitting funds to the note holder, and following up on delinquencies.
