Description

  • We have an internship vacancy within the ‘Energy Storage’ department, in the area of battery component characterization. The project will involve use of a range of analytical techniques and measurements to investigate component performance, such as UV-vis and Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) spectroscopies, conductivity, mechanical testing, and electrochemistry. The work will primarily be experimental and lab-based, carrying out experiments as well as performing the analysis and interpretation of the experimental data. You will work within a team of scientists as an integrated part of the team working on an on-going research project. 
  • The position would be suitable for those interested in applications of chemistry and material science in battery technologies.
