What are the work hours for this internship?
The student will work Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, but the work schedule can be adjusted around the school schedule while school is in session.
What type of experience will I gain during this internship?
You will gain real-world experience by assisting and performing hands-on repairs and maintenance of medical devices under the supervision of experienced Biomedical Equipment Services Technicians.

Yes, this is a paid internship with an hourly rate of $17.00.
What qualifications are required to apply for this internship?
Candidates must be currently enrolled in and have completed the first year of an Associates Degree program for Biomedical Equipment Repair, Electronics, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0, or have completed the second year of a Bachelor's Degree program in the same fields with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Are there any specific skills needed for this internship?
Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications are required for this position.
Will I be working alone during the internship?
No, you will work under the direct supervision of experienced Biomedical Equipment Services Technicians, supervisors, or managers.
What regulatory knowledge is expected from me as an intern?
You should become familiar with and act in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations governing the repair and maintenance of medical devices.
