The main focus of the internship is to apply AI techniques to understand climate change impacts on mangroves and to help expand WWF's understanding of nature-based solutions through artificial intelligence.
What educational background is required for this internship?
The internship requires the candidate to be pursuing a graduate program in data science, computer science, or information sciences. Students in environmental sciences and other fields are encouraged to apply if they have evidence of computer programming and data management expertise.

The internship is paid at a rate of $22.50 per hour.
Where can the internship be completed?
The internship can be completed in Washington DC or other states, with some exceptions including Hawaii, Kentucky, Nevada, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, and Wyoming.
