Requirements

  • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • Candidate must be scheduled to graduate in 2026.

  • What we’d prefer for you to bring to our firm:
  • Assist in design tasks of various bridge elements including substructures, bearings, beams, slabs, barriers, and other structural elements such as retaining walls or concrete boxes
  • Assist in bridge load rating calculations
  • Assist in plan preparation including detailing and drafting
  • Assist in bridge inspections, some of which may require travel and working outdoors in hot or cold environments
  • Assist in other tasks as needed

Responsibilities

  • Bridge Plan Sheet Development
  • Bridge Design
  • Bridge Inspection
  • Assist regional office in various tasks related to Structural Engineering including design, analysis, reports, and plan production.
  • Provide weekly status updates
  • Attend weekly project and/or team meetings
  • Will learn proficiency in computer-aided drafting and design software. (MicroStation and Geopak)
  • Works well independently and in team environment
  • Commitment to quality work and timely communication
