Responsibilities

  • This position includes structural design, rehabilitation, and inspection of bridges and tunnels along with preparation of load ratings, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates. In addition, duties may include construction inspection services. Day to day assignments and technical guidance will be provided by Project Managers and Project Engineers. General duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform a variety of tasks to support design, analysis, and plan production.
  • Utilize AutoCAD or Microstation and various other design software to assist on design related tasks.
  • Collect, organize, and evaluate data needed for basic calculations and design.
  • Assist with computation of plan quantities to support cost estimates.
  • Assist in the performance of bridge and tunnel inspections throughout MA and possibly throughout the US.
  • Assist in the preparation of bridge and tunnel inspection reports.
