Requirements

  • Current enrollment in Civil Engineering bachelor or master program in Civil Engineering, preferably with Structural Concentration.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with structural design and analysis software (RISA, STAAD, etc.) a plus.
  • Experience with drafting and modeling software (Revit and AutoCAD) a plus.
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

  • Interns will join our collaborative team of engineers and architects on a variety of challenging projects, including buildings, industrial facilities, water/wastewater plants, and waterfront facilities. WRA has a strong mentoring culture and a focus on staff development.
  • Interns will receive training in structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and materials. Interns will also be trained in developing concept designs and creating construction documents for clients across a broad range of markets.
