What is the purpose of the Bursary Programme at Lidl?
The Bursary Programme aims to provide students with meaningful experience across the sales and logistics functions of our business while preparing them for a potential full-time position upon graduation.
What qualifications are required for the Bursary Programme?
Candidates are expected to be on track for at least a 2:1 in their studies, enrolled in a course that offers a sandwich year placement, possess a full UK driving license, and show an open-minded willingness to learn quickly. An interest in Retail and/or Logistics and fluency in English are also required.
What are the benefits of participating in the Bursary Programme?
Participants will receive a salary of £24,500 per annum, their university fees covered for the sandwich year, personalized training and development, a blend of on-the-job experience and formal learning, mentoring, and the opportunity for part-time employment, with tuition fees paid during their final year.
Where will the placement be located?
The placement will be based in both stores and warehouses across Lidl Northern Ireland.
