Requirements

  • Have obtained or working on a degree in Engineering or IT.
  • Understanding of refinery economics and unit operations.
  • Computer proficiency, good oral/written/interpersonal communication skills.
  • A self-starter who is detailed oriented and is able to multi-task.
  • Preferred knowledge in the following applications
  • Power BI
  • SQL
  • Essbase
  • Excel VBA
  • Python
  • SAP
  • Data Reconciliation computer programs
  • Visual Basic programming language
  • Flexibility of work schedule around deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize and maintain business and financial analysis tools:
  • Operationalize Power BI solution and conduct advanced analytics.
  • Elaborate dashboard to summarize commercial activities of the Front Office team.
  • Provide IT support to follow-up contract performance in liaise with Commercial Managers.
  • Develop dashboard to help communication on Financial Results.
  • Organize the collection of data for the “Result Forecast“ exercise.
  • Streamline IT processes through the different tools (SAP, Medissys…)
  • Identify and Support IT developments for RSTO-BC:
  • Develop Back-office automation (e.g. Superfund tax, automatic billing).
  • Perform modernization of the BTP indicator spreadsheet, and seek optimization of other RSTO-BC spreadsheet.
  • Track manual tasks and automize as much as possible to search for efficiency.
  • Work with each team to identify improvement through data collection and data visualization.
  • Provide data expertise to the RSTO-BC team:
  • Train the team to use the developed tools.
  • Provide expertise and dashboarding RSTO-BC key performance indicators.
  • Provide configuration support for corporate IT applications (Integrated Data Information System, Material Balance reconciliation tools, …)
