The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, June 4th – Friday, August 16th You must be able to work 20 hours/week.

Responsibilities

Students who are selected for these internships will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of business and legal affairs matters in each of Concord’s divisions. Work experience may include shadowing or assisting with mergers and acquisitions; frontline artist, writer, and author signings; contract summaries and administration; new media licensing; infringement and litigation; and more. Our goal is to provide a varied, educational, and engaging legal experience for interns, while enabling them to contribute to Concord and its operations in a meaningful way.
Applicants should have: the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; excellent legal research and writing skills; good judgement and ability to prioritize tasks; attention to detail and strong follow-up skills; excellent organizational and communication skills; and be tech savvy with experience using Microsoft Office (specifically Office 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel). Ideally candidates will have had some exposure to intellectual property law and/or copyright law. Candidates must have a demonstrated passion for music business.
