  • Experience:
  • Enrolled in bachelors or master’s programme. We love folks with varied coursework, but you must possess an analytical mindset, passion for business, and a desire to innovate. ESG-related majors, a plus.
  • A history of tackling projects with a quantitative lens, and a desire for data-driven insights.
  • Verisk Maplecroft serves many different industries helping them look at Environmental, Social, Governance and Political (ESG+P) risk so a keen interest or previous experience in this area is helpful, though not required.
  • Technical skill requirements vary depending on the position. Be sure to include your technical skillset on your resume, and we can go from there. At a minimum, you should have Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint as a foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of intelligent consulting solutions for clients in the fast-evolving world of sustainability, politics and human rights.
  • Support the research and publication of country risk reports focusing on politics, human rights and ESG.
  • Support development of the research agenda and conduct data-driven and qualitative analysis for regular publication to subscription clients.
  • Organize and structure sustainability datasets and assist in preparing core project documents.
  • Support the development of corporate human rights due diligence strategies for clients.
  • Conduct sector-specific research and analysis to help inform client strategy formulation and decision making.
  • Support business development activities, including project scoping with clients, proposal writing and creating engaging thought leadership materials.
  • Deep dive into analytical and data modelling as part of sustainable procurement / responsible sourcing-related projects
  • Contribute to external reports and analysis.
  • Conduct immersive research, analyze data, and support development of innovative future programmes to benefit our customers.
  • Build professional relationships with other interns, coworkers and customers while offering support across business units.
