Responsibilities

  • Support business systems and data management initiatives under the guidance of the Business Systems and Data Manager
  • Utilize Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau to manage and enhance data sources and data models, focusing on improving the semantic layer
  • Enhance and maintain the data dictionary and a list of reports with descriptions and objectives
  • Assist in integrating Salesforce into business operations to create meaningful dashboards, involving recommendations from our Used Truck Centers
  • Utilize Snowflake and a proprietary asset finance system to support and optimize data storage and analytics needs
  • Support data integrity, data democratization initiatives, data privacy, and manage user data permissions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Gather and analyze data to prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations. Key metrics include data quality, system performance, and user engagement
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify reporting needs and develop proof-of-concepts
  • Develop and present implementation plans to management
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of implemented reporting and data management practices
