Requirements

  • Jr. or Sr. level standing with declared major in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.
  • Ability to compute quantities and verify measurements and layouts.
  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail; able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work productively with all project stakeholders.
  • Previous experience using CAD software (AutoCad, Civil 3D) is desired.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel & Word)
  • Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • The internship will provide an opportunity to assist engineers with construction inspection services on a variety of municipal infrastructure and roadway projects. Duties will include assisting with site surveying and documentation of construction activities, computing quantities, and verifying measurements and layouts on project sites.
