Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university is required. Academic Junior or Senior Desired.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
  • Adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and practices.
  • A valid Driver's License is required with a safe driving record and must complete a pre-employment screening.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • ICE is a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the production of engineering drawings and specifications, production of engineering investigations.
  • Analyze technical problems and devising new approaches and alternative solutions.
  • Assist engineers with the design and drafting of preliminary and final plans.
  • Maintain organized documentation/archives of design files, drawings, and construction submittals.
  • Provide construction assistance and aid the team with Requests for Information (RFI’s) as necessary.
