Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field with the intent to continue after the internship unless graduating.
  • Candidates must have completed two years of study in their program.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InRoads, OpenRoads)
  • 1 cycle of internship experience is a plus.
  • Interest or experience in Transit/Railroads Engineering.
  • Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.
  • Candidate must be highly motivated, curious, and have a team player attitude.
  • Ability to manage time and deadlines, keep track of steps, and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with track and Catenary design as needed.
  • Assist in the development of drawings.
  • Work with the direction and supervision of an engineer.
  • Perform calculations to support the Team.
  • Provide support to the staff, as needed.
