What responsibilities will I have as a Civil Field Engineering Inspection Intern?
You will support inspection teams with field inspections, verify dimensions of prepared and completed work, collect and prepare data for evaluation, perform engineering tasks with computer-assisted software, prepare reports on site operations activities, and provide support to engineering and project management associates.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates must be currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Management, or related specialization from an ABET-accredited university. Additionally, strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a valid driver’s license are required.
Is prior experience needed for this internship?
While prior internship or related experience is preferred, it is not a requirement for this position.
What physical requirements should I be aware of for this internship?
The internship requires the ability to sit, stand, climb, bend, twist, or stoop frequently and for prolonged periods, work under various outside conditions, and lift or move up to 50 pounds and shake up to 20 pounds.

You will collaborate with and be mentored by top engineering associates on the team, providing you with guidance and hands-on experience in the Transportation Construction Management profession.
