Requirements

  • The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with an excitement to learn about the medical communications industry. Ability to multitask, working on multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills and ability to handle tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, prioritizes and manages all personal tasks with efficiency. Manages the team’s current and incoming tasks and issues, and always works to maximize the most effective and efficient use of team members’ time.
  • Open x drive folders for new projects, keep folders organized, and use proper naming conventions.
  • Start planning sheets for each meeting using the planning sheet template. Populate with any information available and tag the Project Lead to help finalize any additional information they might have/are aware of.
  • Start LMWs for product theaters.
  • Utilize strong working relationships with other internal teams. Builds the acumen to know which channels and style of communication will yield the best outcome.
  • Demonstrates the ability to clearly and concisely communicate tasks and issues across internal teams while remaining solutions oriented.
  • Prepare Client Status Report Updates, Client Status Meeting Recaps, and internal Planning Spreadsheet Updates
  • Open purchase orders for vendor/association fees, complete goods receipt in Business World, and track all information
  • Draft weekly meeting recaps with Janssen/PRI Action Items following weekly client calls
  • Consistently takes the initiative to lead the team and maintains a level of progress for each project. Demonstrates the ability to provide clear direction and guidance to overcome difficulties.
  • Demonstrates strong critical-thinking skills that prove the ability to find the most efficient solutions to any scenarios that impede a project’s progress.
