What are the qualifications needed for the CNN Documentary Internships in NYC for Fall 2024?
The qualifications include being actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program, being a rising junior or senior, having a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, having sharp organizational skills, a research background, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What are the key responsibilities of the interns in the CNN Documentary Internship program?
Interns will assist in pitching story ideas, setting up shoots, gathering editorial and video materials, scriptwriting, basic administrative and production tasks, and organizing video content.
When does the internship program start and end, and how many hours per week are interns expected to work?
The program starts on October 7th and ends on December 13th. Interns are expected to work 16-24 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
Does the CNN Documentary Internship program offer paid opportunities?
Yes, the internships are paid with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required, but documentation for school credit is provided if desired. Relocation is not provided.
How can applicants find out if they have been selected for an internship position?
Interviewing will take place from July through Late August. A WBD team member will contact applicants if their experiences and interests match an open internship position. Unfortunately, individual status updates are not provided due to the high volume of applications.
