What is the location of the CNN Weather Internship for Fall 2024?
The internship will be located in the ATL area.
What are the responsibilities of the CNN Weather Intern?
The intern will participate in the production of on-air weather content, research weather and science related stories, learn weather graphics software, help create online content, and participate in breaking weather and other related news stories.
What qualifications are required for the CNN Weather Internship?
Students should be at least a junior level majoring in Meteorology or Atmospheric Sciences, interested in pursuing a career in Broadcast Meteorology or weather/climate communications, have some experience with TV weather graphics or science-related articles, and must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university.
Are there any age or GPA requirements for the internship?
Interns must be a rising Junior or Senior Undergrad (18 years or older) and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above to be considered for the internship.
Are international students eligible for the CNN Weather Internship?
Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates on any student or exchange visa will not be eligible for the internship program.
