Requirements

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance other related field
  • Working towards CPA designation after graduation
  • Customer service and/or client service experience is considered an asset
  • Ability to travel, mainly in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Perform Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) engagements to assist clients evaluate their business processes and controls
  • Assess business processes and internal controls across a range of industries and identify opportunities for improvement including automation of processes and controls
  • Facilitate collaboration with the client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality and deadlines
  • Contribute to the development of innovative ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around enterprise risk
  • Participate in the delivery of additional Enterprise Risk Services including compliance audits, internal audit, data analytics, enterprise risk management and business resilience, as necessary
