Requirements

  • Education:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Additional:
  • Knowledge and use of a configuration management tool would be an asset.
  • Experience with any of the following tools are highly desirable:
  • Troubleshooting and simulation tooks (Robot Framework, Wireshark, CORE, VBS)
  • Rational ROSE, ClearCase and ClearQuest
  • DOORS
  • Microsoft Visio
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Some knowledge of DXL (database programming language).
  • Some scripting experience would be an asset.
  • Some data analysis and metrics reporting would be an asset.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Enthusiastic contributor, willingness to learn new skills and takes on ownership of work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment, with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Performing structural requirements analysis and maintenance.
  • Performing data integrity analysis.
  • Prepare integration test plans, test procedures and test reports in accordance with company and customer standards.
  • Perform system integration testing, record results and conduct analyses of test data.
  • Designing and developing data integrity tools used for validation.
  • Investigating and responding to problem reports.
  • Performing webpage (TWIKI) changes and maintenance.
  • Investigating system defects and raise problem reports.
  • Conducting tests in the lab, collect customer feedback, and collaborate with other product and engineering teams.
  • Some work involving Networking and routing, VLANs, Microsoft Applications, radio, voice and data networks and various automation.
