  • The Co-Op Flight Safety Investigations responsibilities include providing support to the Flight Safety Accident/Incident Investigation Team, Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA), and Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP). The data collected through these programs supports Delta's Safety Management System (SMS), which is a cornerstone of Delta's proactive accident and incident prevention system to track, trend and resolve aviation hazards. This position will include exposure to the full investigative process, in which a successful candidate will be responsible for collecting factual data, such as damage data, injury information, meteorological conditions, crew background, human performance data, flight recorder data, and other relevant investigative data.
