Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering or related fields
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Classwork in civil/construction engineering
Participation in professional societies (ASCE, ITE)
Applicable prior internship experience
Valid driver's license
Physical Requirements:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some travel to project sites will be required. The work environment may involve moderate risk with field staff working on or near roadways, near stormwater/wastewater facilities, and construction sites. Personal protective equipment will be provided.

Responsibilities

RK&K is hiring a College Intern to join our Transportation team in Pennsylvania. This position is located in the King of Prussia or Philadelphia offices. As an intern at RK&K, you will receive on-the-job training working alongside and collaborating closely with one of the largest, most talented groups of engineers and transportation professionals in the industry.
This internship is for Engineering Students with an interest in Civil Engineering. In this role, interns will gain insight into various aspects of engineering including design, forecasting, and modeling. Our College Interns will be exposed to various challenges, projects and technology related to operations, safety, and design, and will complete tasks primarily in the office with some opportunity for field work as available.
