Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA
Accounting, A/P, or A/R knowledge/experience preferred
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint); ability to produce information in spreadsheets, documents, forms, tables
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Strong skills in customer service
Strong organization skills, detailed-oriented, and ability to work on multiple projects
Basic math and algebra skills
Frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Strong interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organization
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and customers (internal and external)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Reconciling account balances as directed by Managers
Assisting Managers with data collection, documentation, customer/vendor calls
Demonstrating learned skills through education and apply accounting knowledge to tasks assigned
Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
Performs other duties as assigned
