What is the duration of the Commercial and Sales Professional Development Program (PDP) Internship?
The internship lasts for 10 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2025.
Where will the internship take place?
The internship will take place at one of BASF's US locations, which may include New Jersey, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas, and Louisiana.
Who is eligible to apply for this internship?
Undergraduate students majoring in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or other related business majors, with graduation dates between May 2026 and August 2027, are eligible to apply.
Is relocation required for this internship?
Yes, commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S. during the program is required.
Are there any specific skills or experiences that would make a candidate more competitive?
Yes, demonstrated previous leadership experience, academic achievement, participation in extracurricular activities, previous internship or co-op experience, project management experience, and familiarity with tools like PowerBI, SAP, Tableau, and advanced Excel proficiency are preferred.
Will interns have networking opportunities during the program?
Yes, interns will have the opportunity to expand their network, connect with senior leaders, and establish mentoring relationships throughout BASF.
Is there a possibility of continuing with BASF after the internship?
Yes, interns will be assessed throughout the summer for either a returning internship offer or a full-time offer for BASF's 2-year rotational program upon completion of the internship.
Are there any specific communication skills required for this internship?
Yes, excellent communication skills are a requirement for candidates applying for the internship.
