Requirements

  • A current 2nd, 3rd or penultimate year undergraduate Edinburgh University student.
  • You will have proven communication skills in creating engaging stories for different audiences.
  • Your excellent administration, planning and organisational skills will be key as we design an effective communications strategy to celebrate the fantastic work you’ve created.
  • You will need to collaborate well with others within the Talent and Development team as will be working across a broad range of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out desk-based research to identify innovative ways of presenting digital learning content. This will involve understanding the needs of staff, as well as identifying best practice from external organisations. (20%)
  • Planning, capturing and editing a range of videos and case studies with staff about the development available. (20%)
  • Refreshing existing online resources and web content, based on the research carried out. This will include editing websites, SharePoint sites and refreshing digital learning content. (30%)
  • Working with others to create a communications plan to highlight the refreshed support available. (20%)
  • Assisting the Talent and Development team in the running of other learning programmes and opportunities we offer. (10%)
