Requirements

  • Required Skills:
  • Experience with or familiarity of programming languages such as R, SAS, or STATA; experience of/familiarity with ArcGIS would be plus
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Ability to write clearly and communicate technical concepts to lay audiences
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail, problem solving, and priority setting
  • Knowledge of or demonstrated interest in community development preferred
  • Other:
  • Sitting at a computer for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • You will support the department’s research projects related to community development, responsibilities include literature review, descriptive statistical analysis, and writing/editing draft reports on racial homeownership gap or other research projects. You may also be responsible for assisting the department’s other ongoing research projects and events.
