Responsibilities

  • Community Outreach:
  • Assist Patron Experience team with the preparation and execution of community events and partnerships through activations during the year including Thursday Night Live, Kids Club Activations, Career Fairs, Run Walks, University of Kentucky sports activations, and other community events.
  • Race Meet Promotions:
  • Assist Patron Experience team with preparation and execution of promotional days during the race meet including Sunrise Trackside, Make-A-Wish Day, Military Day, Heroes Day, Kids Club Family Day, Teacher Appreciation Day, and more.
  • Collegiate Opportunities:
  • College Scholarship Day (CSD):
  • Assist in the promotion and execution of College Scholarship Day presented by Lane’s End for both Fall and Spring Race Meets.
  • Opportunity to serve on Sponsorship, Marketing, and Operations Committees for CSD. Examples of experience include prize sponsorship proposals and recaps, social media content planning and creation, planning logistics of CSD.
  • College Ambassador Program
  • Assist Community Relations team in planning and preparing for student programming and events throughout the year.
  • Kids Club:
  • Assist with the planning and execution of a variety of Keeneland Kids Club presented by UK HealthCare Kentucky Children’s Hospital events including but not limited to Holiday Party and Derby Day.
  • Collect bi-monthly Kids Club data reports and distribute New Member Packets
  • Manage and keep up to date records of inventory spreadsheets
  • Miscellaneous:
  • Participate in educational, interactive and career development programming opportunities throughout the year.
  • Support and assist other Keeneland Association department goals and initiatives throughout the year as needed
