The hourly rate for this position is $17.00/hour.
Who is eligible to apply for the internship?
This position is open to students currently enrolled in a 4-year degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, as well as post-graduate students graduating in December 2024 or May 2025.
What are the primary responsibilities of the Construction Management Intern?
The intern will assist operations staff with safety, direction, completion, and financial outcomes of construction projects, as well as participate in meetings, job site safety, scheduling, and construction document management.
Are there any specific software skills required for this position?
Candidates should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to learn Cost Management software, scheduling software, and Construction Document Management software.
Is previous experience in construction management required?
Previous internships and/or jobs in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related fields are preferred but not required.
Will the intern be involved in business development activities?
Yes, the intern will assist the business development team to support strategic growth pursuits.
What types of meetings will the intern attend?
The intern will participate in Owner and Trade Partner events and may assist in Owner and Trade Partner meetings.
